The carnival and countdown was good. Managed to get a d8 group photo taken!

UNO stacko was fun, but they sabo’ed me. In the end had to do the forfeit.. The Dance Dance Revolution.. zzz..!!!! THANKS AH! -.-

Tapped my ez-link card to take the train at 1am. When i alight at Serangoon, the train fare is still 55 cents leh.. Weird!!

I’ve done some research on speaking in tongues again. This time on Singapore churches. I’ve found out in Singapore community forums that many do not understand the Gift of Tongues, but speak because the rest of the church members speak. I’ve also saw that many questioned the way church members speak in tongues in many Singapore churches. (i shall not post the name of the churches here)

Rev Dr Jeffrey Khoo is the academic dean of Far Eastern Bible College in Singapore. He agreed that Tongues speaking in today’s church is improper and incorrect.

The weirdest thing is that throughout the whole research on tongues speaking for months, I’ve NEVER EVER found a single bible study podcast saying that “tongues are unknown language”, or “tongues are jibberish language”, or argue that “jibberish language is the correct way of speaking in tongues”!

Tongues may have ceased. But i do not want to go into that research yet.

Let us all believe in the truth based on the Word of God!

Terrible morning. Woke up at 8.50am by Ding Jie’s continuous phone calling!! Yeah.. i told him to wake me up at 9am so i can go get the cookie mix with him in Bishan. Dunno what happened to his clock lah, i missed 10 mins of sleep for no reason!! =( But i just couldn’t wake up..

In the end made him wait at the bus stop for quite some time. LOL! =x

Went to Bishan market, DJ realised that the shop closes on all Tuesdays. But he didn’t realise that today’s Tuesday! Nice one. -.-

See.. Got evidence leh. We REALLY went Bishan to get that chocolate mix. LOL! So we walked all the way to Bishan NTUC to get the double chocolate mix.. Very sunny, very tiring!

Went to have breakfast (Prata) with the people. After that to Shuyi’s house for baking session!

WAITING for the cookies and brownies to be served to them!!

Some went for the Men prayer meeting. For some reason, i decided not to go for it.

The cleaning up was the most difficult job. I mean.. i can bake and cook and eat, but cleaning up is most tiring job!! I was already very tired.

So comfortable lah!

Most of the peeps left for prayer, some left for dinner. Then we took a group photo.

The cookies were nice. The brownies taste like cakes. Our “agaration” really did the job! Jelly was superb.

Tiring day.. Went shuyi’s house for follow-up. She said it will take 2 hours? In the end it was just a 45 minutes thingy.. After everything ended, she suddenly brought up tongues! Oh, managed to discussed quite a bit, but i’m just too tired to explain more..

Yvonne, the assistant cook, helped me search for all the baking materials we need!! So cool.. She travelled everywhere just to find that brownie mix, cookie mix and the correct brand for Jelly powder! =D

But..

In the end she couldn’t find the mix!!

Only played 1 hour because it wasn’t really interesting. Everybody was half dead after a complete game.

After a few hours, went back to look for Gersh and Chinterpilla. They were almost dead, but i managed to revive Gersh with a game of Volleyball. My hands were… bruised! Very very very painful.. I still have to walk into that bush just to get that ball! =(

Today’s sermon was EXACTLY the same as yesterday’s! Was very very bored there, seriously. I almost slept.. Luckily i got a strong mint from Julius to keep me awake. Hehe.
